A conference on the future direction of affordable and sustainable
heating in Vermont; hosted by Representative David Sharpe and the
Vermont Sustainable Heating Initiative.
**Focus groups for the conference**
         Advantages and Disadvantages of Cord Wood Heat, Wood Chips,
Wood Pellets, and blended Biomass Pellets.
         Land use, Agriculture, Sylva Culture, and Sustainable Yields
         How do we provide Heat to those who can't afford it?
         A planning session for a Pilot LIHEAP project in Bristol.
The future of home heating in Vermont relates to technology, land
use, and affordability.  We need a clear vision of how to steer our
state to an affordable and sustainable future. The economic,
environmental and social consequences for not planning ahead could be
disastrous.  Please join with us and other leaders in all of the
above areas to engage in a planning discussion.
