Hi Everyone,

Waterbury LEAP (Local Energy Action Partnership), a local all-volunteer
group, is hosting an energy efficiency rally/expo for anyone who wants to
stop by this Saturday morning, April 12.  See details below....

2nd Waterbury Energy Efficiency Rally on April 12

Are you in shock from rising fuel prices?  Are you concerned about climate
change?  Would you like to learn several ways you can reduce your energy
costs, reduce your emissions, and help protect the environment?

Then come join your neighbors on Saturday, April 12 at the 2nd Waterbury
Energy Efficiency and Climate Change Rally.  The event will take place
from
10:00 am - 12:30 pm at 81 Demeritt Place (the Green Mountain Coffee Roasters
building behind Freedom Chevrolet).

The Rally is free, and you will be able to:

* Meet experts from Efficiency Vermont, Waterbury Solar Store, and many
other energy-efficiency organizations
* Tour more than 20 informational exhibits and get your questions answered
* Get many tips on ways to save energy, money, and reduce your emissions *
Learn about localvore efforts and CSAs
* Hear local experts share their suggestions and join a community
discussion
about steps you can take at home or at work to make a difference
* Learn about alternative fuel cars
* Enjoy free snacks and drinks, and storytelling for the children. * Bring
a bike, banner, or musical instrument and join a colorful parade to the
Train Station and back (departing 11:40 a.m.) to show the community our
support for these issues.

In 2007 the 1st Waterbury Energy Efficiency Rally drew 125 attendees and was
a great success.  Come make our 2nd Rally even bigger and better!  If you
care about energy efficiency, protecting the environment, and saving money
please join us.

This event is hosted by Waterbury LEAP (Local Energy Action Partnership) a
