[Vermont Peak Oil Political Action Alerts]

Hello, everyone,

Now that the Vermont Legislative Session is commencing, Vermont 
citizen Thomas Weiss will be posting frequent legislative updates on 
the VPON Community Pages.  These updates feature announcements of 
hearings and activities as well as reports on energy and climate 
change hearings, initiatives and proposals in the Vermont Legislature.

Thomas has submitted his first posting, reviewing energy-related 
bills drafted over the summer; he will be reporting the committee 
assignments once the bills are assigned.  In this post, Thomas also 
lists the legislative committee hearings scheduled for this week; 
they are studded with references to energy and climate change
