About the Vermont Peak Oil Network:

The Vermont Peak Oil Network (VPON) reflects a statewide network of individuals and groups working regionally on issues of relocalization and sustainability in response to peak oil. Each group is an autonomous, community-oriented entity. VPON does not attempt to speak for nor represent these individuals or groups; rather, we offer interested parties an opportunity to find and connect with other Vermont citizens engaged in the work of envisioning and planning for a sustainable future in the Green Mountain State.

The VPON website serves as a clearinghouse for information and resources promoting thoughtful, community-based responses to the challenges of peak oil, particularly as they relate to Vermont.

You can find the Regional Peak Oil Group nearest you by visiting the Regional Groups page.
